It works&#8230; until it breaks. <\/p>\n\n<p>So I made a simple plugin.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Shipping Destination Notices for WooCommerce<\/strong> allows you to display a clear message &#8211; or block delivery &#8211; depending on the customer&#8217;s country or state, directly in the checkout.<\/p>\n\n<p>Concrete examples:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>\ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\uddf8 &#8220;Import taxes between 15-22% may apply.&#8221;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>\ud83c\uddf7\ud83c\uddfa &#8220;We currently cannot ship to this destination.&#8221;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>\ud83c\udde8\ud83c\udded &#8220;Glass items ship only via priority service.&#8221;<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>No complicated logic. No modern builds. No unnecessary dependencies.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Just readable rules in WooCommerce \u2192 Settings, classic checkout and block checkout compatible, multilingual, cleanly coded.<\/p>\n\n<p>This is exactly the spirit of our dc25 \/ dc26 projects: small, durable tools that a human being will be able to understand in five years&#8217; time.<\/p>\n\n<p>Because a good plugin isn&#8217;t one that does everything.<\/p>\n\n<p>He&#8217;s the one who does something important, clearly.<\/p>\n\n<p>The plugin will soon be available on the WordPress repo.<\/p>\n\n<p>In the meantime, if your store sells internationally and you need to explain taxes, restrictions or local specifics &#8211; this one should make your life easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/unprintedch\/dc-woo-shipping-notices\">\u2192 View the plugin on GitHub<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When working with Swiss storesor simply outside the US Why is my American customer surprised by taxes?
